ALEXANDRIA TRIP MONTAZA PALACE AND CAFE

ALEXANDRIA TRIP MONTAZA PALACE AND CAFE

HELLO MY POSITIVE READERS

Part 1 :ALEXANDRIA HOTEL WITH MILLION DOLLAR VIEW AND TOUR ALEXANDRIA

We checked out and decided to take the Alexandria tram and we pay inside of the tram with everybody help us as they know we are not from there. We're still looking for the seafood restaurant where we planned to go last night. Unfortunately, it is not open on Sundays, and the amusing part is that we have visited there six times without success. Finally, we attempted to dine in a restaurant near with tramp station and it was ok with the beautiful classic building Alexandria view.

Finally we took the city bus to Montaza Garden, which was approximately an hour out from the downtown. Montaza is fairly large, and it is advised that you bring a car as if you walk will be so far away to walk around  at the summer time

Montaza Palace is a palace, museum, and huge grounds in Alexandria, Egypt's Montaza area. It was constructed on a flat plateau east of centre Alexandria, facing a Mediterranean Sea beach. The once large royal gardens of 150 acres (61 ha) are now available to the public as a landscape park and forest reserve known as Al-Montaza Park.

Montaza at time on a development project so lot of worker work so it may take some time to be done. Finally we reach the garden surrounded by fish ponds and lovely grass fields.

It's a little tiring going down the same path we came in on, but happily there's an exit that links to the railway station and the main road. Finally, we hunt for a cab and return to Montaza's main entrance, which has a mall in front of it.

The Salamlek Palace was build in 1892 on the large Montaza Palace grounds by Khedive Abbas II, the last Muhammad Ali Dynasty king to wield the Khedive title over Egypt and Sudan. It served as a hunting lodge and a home for his companion. The Salamlek Palace has been converted into a hotel.

The bigger Al-Haramlik Residence and royal gardens were added to the Montaza Palace grounds after King Fuad I build it as a vacation palace in 1932. It has two towers and is built in an Ottoman and Florentine style. One of these towers stands out from the rest with extensive Italian Renaissance design elements. Each floor of the palace includes vast open arcades overlooking the sea.

We then went to a cafe with nice design with air conditioning and courteous service. We had ice coffee, lemon and mint juice and you absolutely have to go to this café when you visit Montaza because it will make you relax and the beverages will help your thirst go away and restore your mood.

There are several minivans nearby the café that will transport us back to Cairo. But, unlike the first time, this journey is quite long. I'm not sure why the way selected causes the distance to be longer.

Alexandria was a lot of fun Chefx will definitely back
